About Our Founder
Quidana Dove is the visionary behind Doves Fly Free, Inc.—a woman of faith, a proud mother of four, and a passionate advocate for economic equity and entrepreneurship.
Quidana founded DFF with a deep personal mission: to create a space where minority-owned small businesses can rise, rebuild, and grow stronger. Her inspiration came from watching her sister lose everything in the devastating Altadena fire—yet find the strength to rebuild her business from the ashes. That resilience sparked a calling in Quidana to support other entrepreneurs facing similar adversity.
In her professional life, Quidana leads a successful team at Robert Half, where she has spent over a decade connecting law firms and corporate legal departments with top-tier legal talent. Her career in recruitment has shaped her strengths in leadership, strategic matchmaking, and empowering others to reach their highest potential.
With Doves Fly Free, she combines her business acumen with her heart for service—offering mentorship, resources, and funding to help minority-owned businesses not just survive, but truly soar.
Quidana leads with authenticity, integrity, and unwavering belief in what’s possible when people are given the tools—and the support—to fly.

A structured, hands-on training experience designed to help early-stage and rebuilding entrepreneurs strengthen their business foundations.
Our pilot program guides participants through key areas like business planning, marketing strategy, and financial management—while fostering meaningful connections with industry professionals and peer business owners. Through expert-led workshops, collaborative learning, and one-on-one mentorship, participants leave equipped with the tools, clarity, and community support to relaunch or scale their business with confidence.
Mentorship Network
A dynamic mentorship network pairing minority entrepreneurs with seasoned business leaders and dedicated support coordinators.
Our program connects participants with accomplished professionals who offer real-world guidance, industry insights, and proven strategies for sustainable business growth. In addition to expert mentorship, each participant is supported by a Rise Coordinator—a dedicated ally who regularly checks in to assist with everyday challenges, provide accountability, and help turn big ideas into actionable steps. Together, they form a support system built to uplift, empower, and guide entrepreneurs through every stage of their journey.
